How This Works

This site puts Florence's genuinely free experiences in one place: pay-what-you-want walks led by independent local guides, churches entered without a ticket, viewpoints that cost nothing, and the museum free-entry days that reward planning. Nothing is sold here. This site operates no tour of its own. Each walk belongs to its guide or operator, and every reservation is made on GuruWalk or freetour.com, never here.

The roster holds 24 walks: 22 listed on GuruWalk and 2 on freetour.com, each run by its own guide or operator. Free, pay what you want is the price, so a visitor reserves a free spot and tips the guide whatever the walk was worth, and no price is shown for any of the walks on this site. Ratings are printed on their own scale: GuruWalk scores out of 5 and freetour.com scores out of 10, never converted from one to the other.
